The Science Behind:

Siberian ginseng

The most popular herbal medicines

Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus membranaceus) is a herbal medicine that has been widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine for centuries. It’s one of our Founder’s absolute favourite herbs! And here’s a fun fact – it’s been used by Russian cosmonauts to improve alertness and energy and also to adapt to the stress of being in space! It’s a great herb for improving focus when you have complex projects to work on or for studying. Siberian ginseng also has adaptogen properties and will help reduce fatigue as well as provide immune system support.

Traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine to...

• Support general mental wellbeing
• Support immune system health
• Support cognitive function
• Support the body to adapt to stress
• Assist with recovery from illness
• Relieve fatigue

“There are many ginsengs, and this one is my personal favourite.

It just gives you this gentle lift in energy without being overly stimulating. It’s Traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine to reduce mental and cognitive fatigue and supports cognitive function so it’s my go-to when I need that lift in focus and energy. Plus of course it’s adaptogenic properties help manage stress as well. This is such an awesome herbal medicine!”
